“We would also like to highlight the position of the European Commissioner regarding the interconnection of the Cyprus problem with the wider Euro-Turkish relations. This position is particularly important in the run-up to the European Council on 25-27 March, when the framework of Euro-Turkish relations will be discussed, always keeping in mind both the possibility of sanctions against Turkey and the so-called positive agenda.
