The Scientific Conference on: Pandemic Covid-19: Present and Future of the Cyprus Pulmonary Society in collaboration with the Hellenic Pulmonary Society was completed with great success.
The Conference was held on Saturday 25 June at the St Raphael Marina and Resort Hotel in Limassol under the auspices of the Ministry of Health and the Pancyprian Medical Association.
The speakers provided in-depth information on the current state of Covid-19, with the short-term and long-term effects of the virus.
The Minister of Health Michalis Hadjipandela in his greeting at the Conference praised the initiative of the event as he said, such actions, enrich the medical community of Cyprus with knowledge. “It is possible to exchange views, experiences and review the international literature on the progress of research on the effects of coronavirus on human health and how we will proceed in the future.”
Memorandum of Cooperation between the Hellenic Pulmonary Society and the Pulmonary Society of Cyprus.
The Memorandum of Cooperation provides, inter alia, the promotion and advancement of knowledge, the planning and conducting of scientific studies, research, conferences, seminars, seminars, laboratories, training of doctors in the latest views and techniques and informing the public on issues of prevention and treatment of diseases related to the Specialty.
The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by the Chairman of the Board of the Hellenic Pulmonary Society Stylianos Loukidis and the Chairman of the Board of the Cyprus Pulmonary Society Michalis Rovanias.
