The Ministry of Innovation, Research and Digital Policy informs citizens and businesses that the CovScan Cyprus application has been adapted based on the provisions of the Ministry of Health's decontamination decrees (No. 10 dated 18.2.2022 and No. 11 dated 23.2.2022)./p>
In an announcement, the Ministry of Research states that from today, February 24, 2022, the application allows the user to select a site/premises, based on which the control regulations, corresponding to each site, will be automatically loaded. .

Depending on the site, the CovScan Cyprus application will be green, which means that the certificate is valid and red, which means that the certificate is invalid.
The new upgrade is intended to simplify Safepass checks and provide new possibilities for verifying the authenticity of the European Digital Certificate COVID (EUDCC).
Please note that citizens will not have to re-issue/renew their certificate, as this upgrade only applies to the CovScan Cyprus application.
