His complete satisfaction with the successful completion, without any remarks, of the transaction audit carried out by the Internal Audit Service of the Republic, in relation to two other projects carried out in the city of Paphos and co-financed by European Funds, says the Municipality of Paphos.
According to a statement, in letters sent to the Local Authority by the company Grant Thornton (Cyprus) Limited, which carried out the audit on behalf of the Internal Audit Service of the Republic, it is stated that there are no findings in the Final Audit Report and as a consequence the said audit is considered closed.
This fact, the announcement adds, demonstrates that the Municipality of Paphos acted for all projects on the basis of good administration and managerial competence, faithfully following all the prescribed procedures.
< p>As reported, the control concerned two major projects that were carried out in the city center and in Kato Paphos, namely the "Restoration and Utilization of the Chania of Ibrahim in Paphos" project. and the project “Regeneration and Promotion of Psarohorio in Kato Paphos”, which were executed within the framework of the Operational Program “Competitiveness and Sustainable Development”. and the Operational Program “Sea” of the Program Period 2014-2020 respectively.
In its letters, Grant Thornton (Cyprus) Limited also thanks the Municipality of Paphos for the constructive cooperation, which as it is emphasized, resulted in the adoption and promotion of measures that contribute to the strengthening of the management and control procedures of programs financed within the framework of the “Competitiveness and Sustainable Development” Operational Programs. and "Sea", concludes the announcement.
