For exposing a minor > in danger was arrested in Heraklion, a 57-year-old German tourist after his estranged wife, also from Germany, 47, called the authorities.
According to the information, the 57-year-old father of the child from Germany, was found… “mosquito” from the drink on the bed of the room after he had consumed not one, not two but… eight bottles of ouzo, as a result of which he abandoned his 9-year-old son, the which he had with him on his vacation in Crete.
The child was alone in the hotel premises for many hours and when his father was searched, he was found in a state of complete intoxication in his room.
strong> The child's mother in Germany was informed and the authorities eventually handed the child over to his mother, who was flown in from Germany.
The estranged wife filed a police complaint seeking punishment for the child's father , who was arrested.
