Crowds were observed on Saturday morning in the church of Panagia Trachonas in Strovolos.
Specifically, as shown in the photos below, believers went to the spot and formed a queue to worship the relics of St. Ephraim that are in the church in question.
Politis.com.cy contacted the Police who said that they sent members of the force to the scene.
It is noted that according to a journalist of politis.com.cy who was at the spot, two patrol cars passed outside the church, but did not stop. Street vendors were also found at the spot without being allowed under the decree.
