Commenting on this achievement, Giorgos Mavrokostas, the airline's Chief Operating Officer, said: “This milestone is a testament to Cyprus Airways' continued commitment to innovation, environmental sustainability and operational excellence. The use of technology in our processes, helps our crews to make better decisions to fly more efficiently while maintaining our high standards of safety in flight operations.”
He also highlighted: “Our pilots operate some of the world's most technologically advanced aircraft, including the newest addition to our fleet, the Airbus A220-300. The aircraft's cockpit operations rely heavily on navigation charts and manuals. This the project helps Cyprus Airways pilots to have instant access to all this information and other critical tools, from their terminals.This initiative is also an investment that facilitates our staff as we equip them with leading edge technologies to operate in an easier and better way.”
