Today, Cyprus, through its President Nikos Anastasiadis, participates for the first time in the Conference on Libya convened by the French President, Emanuel Macron, in Paris.
According to Government Spokesman Marios Pelekanos, the conference will discuss, among other things, the withdrawal of foreign troops, as well as the political transition to Libya, in view of the elections that are expected to be held in the country next December.
Yesterday the President of the Republic participated in the 4th Paris Peace Forum.
The President of the Republic is accompanied in Paris by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Christodoulidis, the Government Spokesman, Marios Pelekanos, the Director of the Press Office of the President, Andreas Joseph, and officials.
