The increased sales of phones from Cyta within 2021, led the organization to proceed with additional orders, amounting to € 5 million, to meet the needs of its customers. For this purpose, Cyta needs additional appropriations of € 5 million, which are included in the supplementary budget, which was submitted yesterday to the Plenary Session of the Parliament. With the supplementary budget, Cyta's total budget for 2021 increases to € 32.4 million.
According to the explanatory report, the supplementary budget includes provision for the purchase of terminal equipment for resale, which concerns individual telecommunications terminals and accessories. At the same time, it is noted that due to the increased sales that have taken place so far, it is estimated that an additional amount of € 5 million will be required to cover orders for the purchase of equipment for resale during the last months of the year. As noted, with the approval of the additional credits of € 5 million, Cyta will be able to increase its turnover and its customers. Next Monday, Cyta's supplementary budget will be discussed in the Parliamentary Committee on Finance, with the aim of leading it to the Plenary Session of the Parliament as soon as possible.
