The announcement of the Department of Labor Inspection
Dangerous products, which do not satisfy the current legislation that defines the basic safety and health requirements, have been released on the European Union market.
In its announcement, the Department of Labor Inspection, of the Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance, informs employers, the self-employed persons and the consumer public that according to data registered in the Rapid Information Exchange System (RAPEX), these products are dangerous.
This is a German electric bicycle of origin, laser cutting machine of Chinese origin, chainsaw blade of United States origin and hinged type cutting attachment.
There are also dangerous personal protective equipment on the European market, such as a bicycle helmet of Chinese origin, ski goggles of Italian origin and a particle filter mask of Portuguese origin.
The Labor Inspection Department calls on the consumer public, in case they find the specific products in the Cypriot purchase, to inform the relevant Department Officers on the contact numbers 22405663, 22405610, 22405631 and 22405033.
