It takes place from tomorrow, December 13th until the 15th of the month, the Pan-Cypriot Statutory Assembly of the POED.
According to the POED, with the proposed changes the Board aims to modernize the statute of the Organization and to upgrade the way of its operation, with the aim of flexibility and efficiency.
Notes that today Monday will be heldan Online Informational General Meeting of the Organization's Members. strong>
The proposed changes concern Article 26.2 (Electoral System: Creation of new Bodies in the Organization which will be elected by the regular members) and specifically, Pancypriot Council of 100 General Representatives ( PSGA), 13-member Executive Board of Directors (EDS), Provincial Committees (EP) which will consist of 7 to 11 members, depending on the population of the Province, while the term of office of the elected GAs from 3 years, becomes 4 years like all the elected Bodies in the POED , Application of simple proportional to the election of above POED Bodies.
