The Larnaca District Court on Tuesday issued a decree banning stadiums until the completion of the court proceedings, to a 31-year-old man for the incidents that took place on Saturday, April 30, outside the stadium “Antonis Papadopoulos “in Larnaca.
According to KYPE, senior lieutenant Haris Hatzigiasemi, spokesman for the Larnaca Police Department, the 31-year-old appeared before the Larnaca District Court today and his defense attorney asked for time to study his testimony in the case of his client.
He added that “the Court set the case for June 2, while an exclusion order was issued against the 31-year-old from all stages of free Cyprus until the completion of the court proceedings.” p>
It is recalled that the suspect had appeared on Friday, May 6 at the Larnaca Police Station and allegedly stated that he was one of the persons wanted by the Police in relation to the April 30 incidents, the which took place outside the stadium “Antonis Papadopoulos.
The man was accused in writing of the crime of harassment and was released while at 9 May appeared before the Larnaca District Court for registration of the case, which is set for today, Tuesday. The case is being investigated by TAE Larnaca.
