< p >Information of the KYPE from Hermes Airports states that a total of four flights were affected by the dense fog in the area of Larnaca airport, after 3 am today, as a result of which no aircraft can land.
As therefore it became necessary to divert flights from Frankfurt, Zurich, Belgrade and Athens, to land at Paphos airport, until the situation improves.
Around 7 am the aircraft from Athens and Belgrade have already returned from Paphos to Larnaca airport and the return of the flights from Zurich and Frankfurt is expected soon.
According to the information of KYPE, more than 700 passengers were on board the four flights, while after the dissolution of the fog, the flight schedule of Larnaca airport is carried out normally without any problems.
