Constantly developing Cyprus relations and France in the field of tourism, the Deputy Minister of Tourism discussed with the Ambassador of France.
According to an announcement from the Deputy Ministry, a meeting was held on Thursday at the offices of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism in Nicosia Deputy Minister of Tourism Costas Koumis with the Ambassador of France in Cyprus Salina Grenet – Catalano.
In the context of the meeting, there was an exchange of views on the constantly developing tourism relations between the two countries and on their air connection. Special mention was made of the excellent results of tourist arrivals recorded by the French tourism market in 2022, as well as the encouraging signs of this year.
The ways were also discussed promotion of Cyprus in the French market, as well as for the preferences of French visitors.
The meeting took place in a constructive and very friendly atmosphere and it was agreed as the communication between the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and the Embassy of France to continue, the announcement concludes.
