The schedule for the payment of allowances and other social benefits

The payment of allowances and other social benefits continues as normal and according to the program ahead of the Easter holidays, the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare announced on Tuesday.
In its announcement, the Deputy Ministry notes that the process of paying the monthly Public Assistance and the monthly Incarcerated Allowance has been completed, while the payment of the Minimum Guaranteed Income is proceeding normally.
The Services of Social Welfare (YKE), the Welfare Benefits Management Service (YDEP) and the Department of Social Integration of Persons with Disabilities (TKEAA) have made all the necessary arrangements for earlier payment of benefits and other social benefits, the announcement states.
Specifically, the Minimum Guaranteed Income and the emergency public assistance benefits were paid on Tuesday, while on Wednesday, April 12, the benefit to pensioners with low incomes, the Easter gift to beneficiaries of the plan to support pensioners with low incomes, the monthly child benefit to three-child and large-child families, as well as the monthly allowance for a single-parent family.
On Wednesday, April 12, the honorary allowance for a mother with many children will also be paid to the beneficiaries for the year 2022 and the monthly grant to veterans and widows of veterans of the Second World War, while on the same day the payment of the gross motor disability allowance, the care allowance for people with paraplegia or quadriplegia, the blind allowance and the traffic allowance are expected.
The Deputy Ministry notes, however, that regarding the checks for International Protection Applicants, the schedule of the previous months will be followed and they will be issued normally, i.e. around the end of April.
