The former leader of the Turkish Cypriots, Dervis Eroglou, is being treated in the intensive care unit of the “university” hospital near the East in the occupied territories after a sudden illness he felt yesterday while he was at home.
The website Hamper Kipris writes that Mr. Eroglou is in good health and receiving treatment as there is a suspicion of a viral infection. All his vital organs are functioning normally, he added in the post.
Rasmiyye Cyanaltai, “Minister of Transport” and Mr. Eroglu's daughter, posted in her post last night that her father is well and his detention in the intensive care unit is precautionary. The Turkish leader, Ersin Tatar, also wished Dervis Eroglou the best on social media.
