The updated Plan in continuation of A’ Phase of the Plans announced around the end of 2021.
The success of these Schemes has resulted in around 140% meeting and exceeding national targets for new electric vehicle registrations for 2022, including plug-in hybrids and orders for the year due to the Schemes.
The Plans have been merged into a comprehensive Electric Vehicle Grant Scheme combined with the withdrawal of old polluting vehicles with 17 grant categories/types and a budget of €10,154,000.
