YOTHShare is pleased to announce the launch of its much-anticipated training program, which aims to equip young people with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the evolving landscape of social, sharing and circular economy.
The program is conducted in English and will last for 2 weeks, starting on 19 June 2023. Participants can choose between morning and afternoon classes, which will be held from Monday to Friday or Saturday.
It has been observed that young people often struggle to join the labor market and make the most of the opportunities given to them in the ever-changing work sector. They face a wide range of challenges, as they need to constantly evolve and expand their skills to meet the increasing demands of employers, but also to adequately respond to the new sectors and industries that have emerged in recent years. The YOUTHShare project, funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment and implemented by CARDET, is designed to address these difficulties, help young people develop their new economy skills and enhance their employability and potential for success.
In particular, the goal of YOUTHShare 2.0 is to create employment opportunities for young people, which better match their qualifications with market expectations. In order to achieve this, YOUTHShare's range of training courses includes a comprehensive curriculum, covering a wide range of topics, including the development of soft skills, understanding the labor market and new forms of employment, developing entrepreneurial skills and the acquisition of skills for the new economy.
Besides the opportunity to participate in various courses, participants will have the opportunity to take part in open discussions and share their point of view with other learners. The training includes 3 separate categories, each of which focuses on a specific topic:
- Understanding the labor market and new forms of economy
- Developing entrepreneurial skills
- Developing skills for the new economy
