Cyprus, as a global shipping power, with a leading presence in both international and European steps, will submit the initiative of the Cypriot Government, for a regional action plan to address climate change, said today the Deputy Minister of Shipping, Vassilis Dimitriadis.
In his statements to the media, from Brest, France, where he accompanies the President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Anastasiadis, at the “One Ocean” Summit, Mr. Demitriadis said that “the heart of the blue economy and the sustainable development of the oceans and of the seas hits from today in Brest. President Anastasiadis, responding to the invitation of President Macron, is here to contribute as Cyprus to the global effort to protect the seas and oceans.
