The statements of the press representative of Omonia
Omonia's press representative, Andreas Dimitriou, spoke to SPOR FM 95.0 about all matters concerning Omonia.

Regarding Omonia's request to KOP: “We are already thinking about the match with Karmiotissa, which we still don't know when it will take place. The program states that it will be on Sunday, but a request that we submitted to KOP to play at the same time as APOEL-Nea Salamina is pending. We have not received an official response from KOP. I don't think KOP's attitude shows respect to the most popular team in Cyprus. What KOP did is unacceptable. There is no justification or logic for the fact that the KOP has set the matches of Omonia and New Salamina on a different day. He hurried and announced the program of the last game, before the end of the penultimate game. The mistake was made and the KOP's excuse is that the Police do not allow two matches to take place in Limassol on the same day, AEL-Apollon and Karmiotissa-Omonoia. We suggested that the two matches be held in Limassol with a time difference and it seems that this will not be accepted either. Yesterday in Larnaca two matches were held in the presence of thousands of fans. The Police had no problem policing them. KOP tells us that the Police are not policing two matches in Limassol. The KOP must do so to ensure the credibility of the Federation and the leagues. And it is not an excuse that the Police refuse. KOP is solely responsible. We still do not have an official response from KOP. We are forced to go public and ask for the obvious. It is the just and right thing to do. We expect that even today the KOP will realize the negative consequences of the decision it has taken and will set the two matches at the same time and day. We are truly sorry to have to make this intervention on such a day. But we had to do it.”
On Ansarifard: “Karim was expected to train normally today. His injury does not appear to be serious. He will probably be available for the game against Karmiotissa”.
For Psaltis: “Unfortunately, he has a serious hamstring injury. Unfortunately he will miss the season. We hope he stays strong and comes back.”
