Dimitris Parellis and his co-driver Andreas Papandreou will compete for the second consecutive year in the Acropolis Rally, which is part of the World Rally Championship calendar. The duo will run like last year in the Renault Clio Rally5 with the primary goal of finishing in a very difficult race and hoping to achieve similar successes to last year's race.
Before their departure for Greece, which is scheduled for the first of September, the crew spoke at a press conference at the offices of ECOMMBX, one of the main supporters of the crew. The press conference was opened by the marketing manager of ECOMMBX, Aggelis Zittis, while Mrs. Kalli Hatziiosif, Vice President of the Cyprus Sports Organization, gave a short speech.
Next, Dimitris Parellis mentioned sponsors and the team's plan. “I want to thank the sponsors who are by our side in this effort,” said Parellis, continuing, “We are going into a difficult and demanding race where our primary goal is to finish.
