I.M. expresses full confidence in the Synodal Court-Police. Tamasou – What he says in a new announcement he issued – “Soon the whole truth will come out”
He will not engage in a public confrontation, states, in a statement, the Holy Metropolis of Tamasou and Orini, expressing its full confidence in the proceedings of the Synodal Court and the Police.
« We carefully monitor what is falsely spreadand are announced in an attempt to influence public opinion and the ongoing investigations. We will not follow this path and engage in a public confrontation to respond to every false or misleading report. We have full confidence in the procedures, conducted by the Synodal Court and the Police, in which we competently establish the truth”, he adds.
He states, finally, that they are absolutely sure that soon the whole truth will come to light.

The monks dispute the procedures and ask for their cancellation. They did not go to the inquest, they sent a memorandum
Meanwhile yesterday with a long announcement, through which they completely dispute, as perforated, the procedure before the ecclesiastical judicial bodies, the two monks came back through their lawyers.
In their announcement they refer, among other things, to the reasons why they dispute and request the annulment of the proceedings.
Specifically they seek as annul all the proceedings that followed the complaints of Metropolitan Tamasos, before the Holy Synod, the Synodal Court and the Investigative Committee of the Holy Synod.
Furthermore, they request that their case be taken over from the beginning, himself the head of the Church of Cyprus.
The specific memorandum was also filed before the Commission of Inquiry. The two monks have not yet appeared before the investigative committee.
