Drakou: Made to face every difficulty the insurance industry faces

The insurance industry is built to successfully deal with any difficulty, said the Minister of Justice and Public Order, Stefi Drakou, who attended the cutting of the king cake of the Association of Insurance Companies of Cyprus (SAEK), on Wednesday in Nicosia.

According to a statement issued by SAEK, the event was attended by the Board of Directors of the Association, representatives of the 29 members/companies of SAEK, partners, friends and retired members of the insurance industry.

The Minister of Justice and Public Order, Stefi Drakou, in her short greeting, referred to the important contribution of the Insurance Industry to the country's economy, stressing that the insurance sector is resilient, but also made to successfully face every difficulty that is presented to it .

In his greeting, Evangelos Anastasiadis, President of SAEK, wished 2023 to be a springboard for the Insurance Industry, for new and greater successes. "The challenges we are expected to face, large and multi-layered, but we know better than anyone how to face the difficulties and surprises of life, find solutions and develop", he added.

From his side Andreas Athanasiadis, General Manager of SAEK, noted that "we do not stop supporting our members in their efforts to modernize their work, promoting best practice standards that enhance the quality of service to the public".
