The release of an amount of € 1.7 million was requested today in a letter to the Parliament by the Ministry of Labor in order to purchase services from 260 unemployed, who will be mobilized to strengthen the state services in charge of supervising health protocols and of the restrictive measures in force. It is noted that these needs will be complementary to the personnel of the Police and the National Guard as well as to the civil servants who expressed interest in providing inspector services.

The provision of the requested services will be for a period of three months with the possibility of renewal for another three months. The service hours of the service facilities will be a minimum of eight hours per twenty-four hours as the competent service would like to determine and where the provision of supervision services based on the respective needs is required. The amount of earnings was set at € 1,000 per month for the total number of hours of service. Service providers are required to pay contributions to the Social Security Fund as self-employed.

In the meantime, the application process has been completed today. Due to the huge interest, those applicants who meet the minimum criteria set will be drawn by province. The draw will take place tomorrow at 14.00 by electronic system. The 260 people who will be drawn will receive a relevant notification via their e-mail with which they will be informed at the same time about the service in which they will be placed.
