A planned meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Energy today was interrupted because the representatives of the Ministry did not wish to follow the protocols, reports the EAC, noting at the same time that it supports the efforts of the State for the green energy transition.
In particular, he speaks of an “excellent relationship, mutual understanding and cooperation” between the Administration and the Directorate of EAC, adding that its mission is to act as “the solid pillar of the energy future of Cyprus, ensuring the reliable supply of electricity to all”.< /p>
Furthermore, the EAC states that it is a public benefit organization, stressing that it is “self-evident and imperative, for purposes of transparency in its operation and decision-making, to keep minutes in every institutional meeting – a meeting that takes place in in which members of the Board of Directors and Management, executives of its Activities and Representatives of State Agencies participate”.

Finally, the EAC notes that “it is always at the disposal of the Ministry of Energy for close and creative cooperation so that, even with its own forces, it contributes to the common goal of reducing the price of electricity in Cyprus and to support the efforts of the State for the green energy transition”.
