EAC workers' unions call on the board of directors to resolve its differences with its political boss, for the good of the organization, warning of measures due to the non-implementation of a series of previous commitments.
Speaking to SPOR FM and the DIASPORA IDISSEON show, the president of EPOPAI – OHO – SEC, Kyriakos Tafounas, warned that the unions will proceed to take measures, not excluding the strikers as well, as they claim, despite the commitments to promote the resolution of the chronic problems of the EAC, no substantial decision has been taken.
He noted that since last January, the previous Minister of Labor in the presence of the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Energy, had agreed on a series of measures with the Board of Directors of the Authority , but so far all commitments have remained on paper.
At the same time, he expressed the disappointment of EPOPAI – OHO – SEK for the positive outcome of the meeting last Saturday (14/10) between the EAC Board of Directors and of the Ministry of Energy, which, as he pointed out, they had seen as an optimistic message to promote the measures that concern the guilds.
