They will be closed on Easter Sunday and Holy Monday
< p>The Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance informs that according to the legislation special Easter hours are valid until April 15. Based on the provisions of the legislation, general stores on Good Friday and Holy Saturday can remain open until 6:00pm. On Easter Sunday and Easter Monday general stores should remain closed, since the above days are considered holidays.
It is also stated that Easter Sunday and Monday of Easter is considered a holiday for the employees of special stores. Therefore, in the event that employees of these stores are called to work, they should be compensated at a ratio of 1:2 for each hour of work.
Stores located in areas , which are excluded from the scope of the legislation (they do not border on Municipalities), are not obliged to follow its provisions regarding the opening hours of the shops.
Consequently, employees , who will be required to work on statutory holidays for store employees (Easter Sunday and Easter Monday), should be compensated at a ratio of 1:2 for each hour worked.
