As stated in its announcement, the videos were prepared with the valuable contribution of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus, Constantinos Herodotus. Through the videos, the fervent support of the two institutions is expressed in the important work of strengthening financial literacy in Cyprus, emphasizing the necessity for continuous training, education and information of the public in matters of a financial nature.

The videos were designed around this year's Global Money Week 2024 theme, 'Protect your money, secure your future', which focuses on the need to manage citizens' money safely and emphasizes the importance of adopting a responsible and updated approach.

According to the announcement, in the first video, the President of the Republic refers to the reasons for the increase in product prices and the measures taken to contain inflation. At the same time, it invites our fellow citizens to know basic financial concepts, so that they can make better decisions for themselves and their families.

CBC says all videos will be posted on its website, YouTube channel and LinkedIn page. At the same time, it calls on the Mass Media and their representatives to actively contribute to its effort to shield citizens through informing them about financial literacy issues, by showing and promoting the educational videos in question to the maximum extent possible.
