Joint operational actions at European level to combat trafficking in persons in connection with the exploitation of labor, coordinated by Europol, were carried out between 31/05 / 2021-06 / 06/2021.
An operation was carried out in Cyprus, during which a person was arrested and eight possible victims of human trafficking were identified.
According to a police announcement, the Law Enforcement Authorities of 23 countries took part in the operations, including the Cyprus Police (Office for Combating Trafficking in Persons).
During the operations, 229 people were arrested (73 for the crime of trafficking in human beings) and 630 potential victims of trafficking in human beings were identified.
An operation was carried out in Cyprus, where a person was arrested and eight possible victims of human trafficking were identified.
Upon completion of the examination, the case was registered in the District Court of Nicosia.
The investigation of the case was undertaken by the Office for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings.
