The flag bearer of the Cypriot mission is ready for… a medal!
In the final of the High Jump at the Paris Olympics managed to qualify Elena Kulichenko with the flag of Cyprus.
The athlete with a 1.92m jump managed to get the ticketfor the final on Sunday 4 August, which will take place at 20:55, hoping to reach the podium.
This is the first time that a Cypriot athlete will compete in an Olympic Games final in Athletics, since 1984 Cyprus has participated with its own flag in the sport, making history in Cypriot sports.

Let us inform you that Elena Kulichenko successfully passed 1.83, 1.88 and 1.92, however she did not manage to overcome 1.95, where she had three invalid attempts.
The Cypriot flag bearer took 7th place and she is ready for the final where she will give her best.
