An assassination attempt was made recently in the area of Halepianes in Nicosia.
According to information from politis.com.cy, a person riding a motorcycle shot at a car driver and escaped. The bullets hit the car, but not the driver.
A TAE Nicosia unit is on the scene and the target of the attack and investigations are underway.
The target of the attack is a man from Strovolos who maintains farms in the province of Larnaca and as he reported to the Police, he had received some threats, without however clarifying the reason.
