Singapore's Admiralty Ship is expected to leave the Energean Power floating hydrocarbon processing plant 90 kilometers off the coast of Israel in late March, after which Energean will start production from the Karish field in the third quarter.
As the company announced today, “Energean Power” will be the first floating unit based on natural gas to operate in the Mediterranean. It is an infrastructure that will manage up to 22 million cubic meters of natural gas per day and up to 32 thousand barrels of oil per day, while at the same time it will be able to store up to 800,000 barrels of oil.
“Energean Power” is part of the $ 1.7 billion development of the Karish field in the Israeli sea. During the installation of its equipment in Singapore, more than 1,500 employees have worked per day, while this project has been awarded in both 2020 and 2021 for Health, Safety and Environment.
