Announcement of the Environmentalists Movement – Citizen Cooperation – New Nicosia District Secretary Mr. Loizos Dimitriou
At the Provincial Assembly of the members of the Nicosia Province of the Environmentalist Movement – Citizens Cooperation, held yesterday, Wednesday 24 January 2024, Mr. Loizos Dimitriou has been elected as District Secretary of Nicosia, in place of the resigned Mr. Giorgos Perdikis.
Mr. Dimitriou is also a member of the Central Committee of the Movement and Municipal Councilor of Lakatamia.
Biographical note
Loizos Dimitriou was born on August 12, 1965, originally from the occupied village of Trahoni Kythreas. He has lived permanently in Lakatamia for 38 years.
He is a graduate of the First Technical School. He is married to the painter Naso Dimitriou and father of three daughters.
He and his wife run a frame shop and gallery with original paintings and other handmade decorations and gifts.
Mr. Dimitriou has a strong involvement in the public, through the Environmentalists Movement – Citizens' Cooperation, but also at the local level, as the Municipal Councilor of Lakatamia.
