Unbelievable incident

Voters in Greece are also going to the polls today as they elect MEPs, who will represent the country in the European Parliament.

The electoral process, however, also had many mishaps, such as the entrapment of voters in an elevator in Larissa.

Everything happened at 09:30 in the morning, when 5 Larisa residents went to exercise their right to vote for the 2024 European elections and locked themselves in the elevator of the 1st Experimental General High School in Larissa. 5 people had entered the elevator to go up from the ground floor to the upper floor. The elevator stopped and they started shouting for help.

They had to wait until the fire brigade arrived. Something that happened a little later, with the images recorded on video.

With their release, they made statements clearly irritated, while luckily the worst was avoided.

According to onlarissa.gr, the complaints continued later, as the elevator was out of order, with the result that even elderly people need to climb many steps to vote.
