“I do not accept that you wave your finger at me”, was the response of the president of OAY Thomas Antoniou to the suggestion of the general director of the Ministry of Health, Christina Giannaki, during the debate in the Parliament on the issue of abuses and other problems in the GESS.
She previously stated to Mr. Thomas that she can not and should not blame the Ministry of Health for mistakes of the organization itself. The bloodshed erupted for the second time in the audit committee when Mr. Antoniou referred to the cut of 150 million from the OAU and the consultations that would take place but have not yet taken place on this issue. Ms. Giannaki reacted by saying that Mr. Antoniou has no right to accuse the Ministry of Health when the organization he serves does not comply with the provisions of the legislation.
