According to the media, Mr. Erhiurman in his post early this afternoon, after the statements of Christodoulidis and Tatar about the possibility of a tripartite meeting, writes that what he understands is that an official invitation has not yet been received from the UN Secretary General for the realization of a tripartite meeting with the two leaders and this means – as he claims – that President Christodoulidis with this “lie or statement that is untimely according to diplomatic practices (and thus does not reflect positive intentions), further weakened his credibility , which he has already lost a lot, both in our eyes and in the international community”.
Of course, he continues, and Mr. Tatar did not content himself with saying that the invitation was not received, but announced that even if it came, he would not accept it, saying that there was no ground for a tripartite. “Mr. Tatar also rejected Ms. Holgin's invitation for a social meeting. Dozens of times he said that there are things he wants to explain to the Secretary General about the T/k and that in front of the UN Secretary General he has many things to ask Mr. Christodoulidis. And while the invitation did not go to Mr. Tatar (or has not gone yet) the statement of Mr. Christodoulidis – as I said – is insincere”.
