The framework of the sanctions, which were decided on Wednesday, March 9, at European level, was given by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, in a post on twitter. According to von der Leyen, Europe is strengthening its net of sanctions against Russia in response to the military invasion ordered by Vladimir Putin in Ukraine.

According to the President of the European Commission, the sanctions list of 160 oligarchs, members of the Council of the Russian Federation, the banking sector of Belarus, the export of maritime navigation technology to Russia and the addition of cryptocurrencies.
