The framework of the sanctions, which were decided on Wednesday, March 9, at European level, was given by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, in a post on twitter. According to von der Leyen, Europe is strengthening its net of sanctions against Russia in response to the military invasion ordered by Vladimir Putin in Ukraine.
