For the fourth consecutive year the European University of Cyprus (EUC) is ranked among the top 201+ universities in the world in the 2023 Times Higher Education Impact Rankings in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings assess universities annually in a range of categories based on the Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN until 2030. As a commitment to sustainability is a prerequisite for global higher education institutions, this ranking highlights the social actions of universities at all levels – on campus, in their local environment and beyond.
The European University of Cyprus consistently excels in the Industry category , Innovation and Infrastructurefor its performance in innovation research, its social contribution to industry, and the creation of spin-off companies.
The European University of Cyprus is part of Galileo Global Education, Europe's largest educational group with a network of 54 institutions worldwide. The University operates the most advanced Medical School in the Eastern Mediterranean region and has a comprehensive selection of studies in the fields of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. In 2022, the European University of Cyprus operated a branch of its Medical School in Frankfurt, Germany, which is fully accredited by the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME).
