Supporting the work of the Blood Center and the Karaiskakei Foundation
True to its long-standing commitment to social contribution, Eurobank Cyprus organized for its staff a voluntary blood donation and sampling for voluntary bone marrow donors, on Thursday, February 15, at the Bank's headquarters in Nicosia.
The blood donation took place with the participation of the Bank's staff and managers with the aim of contributing to meeting the increased needs of the Blood Center and strengthening the Cyprus Bone Marrow Donor Registry of the Karaiskakei Foundation. The action is part of a broader initiative undertaken by the Bank for practical support to organizations and our fellow citizens in need.
In his statement, the General Manager of Eurobank Cyprus, Mr. Achilleas Malliotis, after thanking the Blood Center and the Karaiskaki Foundation for the important work they carry out, assured that the Bank will always be a supporter and helper in actions that support Cypriot society and the suffering fellow human being. Finally, he thanked the Bank's staff for their participation in blood donation and sampling for the bone marrow donor registry, stressing that the values of volunteerism and humanity are deeply rooted in the corporate culture of Eurobank Cyprus.
