Israel's Eurovision candidate dead – Killed in Gaza
Dead according to its Defense Ministry Israel captain Shaoli Greenglick, who competed about a month ago in HaKokhav Haba, a talent contest, through which the artist who will represent Israel at Eurovision 2024.
In particular, the statement issued on Wednesday by the ministry refers to the death of three members of its armed forces, in war going on in the Gaza Strip, including Shaoli Greenglick.
The 25-year-old singer appeared at the audition in a military uniform, wanting to dedicate the song he performed to his friends fighting in the Gaza Strip, reports eurovisionfun.com.
With 83%, Shaoli Greenglick had managed to advance to the next round of the talent show and would soon appear again in the next round, aiming to represent Israel in the 68th music competition of Eurovision.
