Execution of works in the Districts of Limassol and Nicosia - Where and when they will be done

The Department of Public Works issued an announcement wanting to inform citizens about the execution of works in the Districts of Limassol and Nicosia.

Specifically, works will be carried out replacement of damaged parapets in part of the central island of the Nicosia highway – Limassol
The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that, on Saturday 20/5/2023 and Sunday 21/0/2023, between the hours of 05:00 – 12:00, work will be carried out to replace damaged parapets on the central island of the Nicosia highway – Limassol in the six-lane section.

During the execution of the works, traffic will be diverted to the two lanes on the left of the highway.

In addition, irrigation pipe replacement works on the Limassol Bypass Road.

The Office of the District Engineer of Limassol, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that, on Thursday 18/5/2023, from 21:00 in the evening until 06:00 the next morning, on the Limassol Bypass Road, works will be carried out to replace an irrigation pipe, due to an emergency breakdown.

During the execution of the works, the entrance from the Germasogeia junction to the Bypass Road in the direction of Paphos will be closed and traffic will go through Kolonaki/Spyros Kyprianou and Agios Athanasios Avenues, as well as the Linopetra roundabout.

The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and to comply with the temporary road markings and the instructions of the Police.
