In Nicosia, there is a big discrepancy in the purchase prices of a grave, since the cost ranges from 766 euros to 1708 euros, depending on the area where the burial will take place. At the same time, prices vary depending on the area, since according to the data registered with the Municipality of Nicosia, Agios Dometios is considerably cheaper than the metropolitan municipality or compared to Aglantzia or Engomi.

The family grave in this area costs €768.87, however, it is possible to purchase a temporary grave, for five years, at a cost of €250.03. Additionally, there are burial costs for all categories of graves, amounting to €170.86.

In the Nicosia metropolitan area, there is no option to purchase a specific grave duration, however it is observed that the graves are classified into categories, with the corresponding price.

Those in the A category are worth €1,708.6, while in the B category, the price drops by half, at a cost of €854.30. The graves in the 3rd Category cost €598.00, while for the needy recipients of aid, with certification from Social Insurance or a certificate from the community leader, the graves are free and belong to the 4th Category.

Finally, for people of a different religion, who fall into the 5th and last category, the price is €598.00. It is noted that the burial costs for all categories of graves amount to €256.29.

At the same time, in the also neighboring area of ​​Engomi, there are gradations of graves, which are however divided into three categories, among which “AA”. More specifically, in this category the cost amounts to €1,537.74.

The next category is the Class A family grave with the cost falling to €1,161.85. Finally, in the Class 3 Family Grave, where the burial takes place for five years and then the bones are transferred to an ossuary, the cost is €683.44. It is noted that the burial costs for all categories of graves are worth another €140.00, when it comes to weekdays. For holidays and weekends, burial costs for all burial categories are €200.00.

Offer even for a Memorial in Aglantzia

Closing with the municipality of Nicosia, the area of ​​Aglantzia has a high cost for a family grave, since the cost is 1200 euros, however the possibility is given to purchase a temporary grave, with a duration of five years.
