With the collision of the two vehicles, the car in which the 77-year-old woman was riding ended up in an adjacent field, while the 77-year-old woman, as well as the 71-year-old and 78-year-old women, were trapped inside their vehicle. After members of the Fire Service freed the three women, an ambulance crew transported them to the Famagusta General Hospital, where a doctor on duty pronounced the 77-year-old woman dead.
The 28-year-old driver of the second vehicle was also transferred to the Famagusta General Hospital, while the 23-year-old passenger was taken to Larnaca General Hospital. The 23-year-old woman was detained for hospitalization, with her state of health being out of danger, while the 28-year-old woman was discharged.
For hospitalization, the 71-year-old driver of the first vehicle and the 78-year-old passenger in the vehicle are detained at the Famagusta General Hospital. . Their state of health is out of danger.
