Fees of up to € 10,000 per year will be imposed on companies that will operate within the boundaries of municipalities, based on the bill promoted in the context of local government reform.

Based on the relevant table, € 10,000 per year will be paid by limited liability companies that carry out insurance, steamship, shipping, aviation or banking operations, as well as financing agencies and portfolio management companies.

Fees of € 10,000 per year will be paid by public companies (domestic / foreign).

The bill also stipulates that employees within the boundaries of municipalities will pay an annual fee as follows: Craftsmen and self-employed € 50.

Freelancers, such as doctors, lawyers, architects, engineers, traders, industrialists and entrepreneurs, working as individuals will pay an annual fee of € 200.

Limited liability companies that carry out insurance, steamship, shipping, aviation or banking operations, as well as funding agencies and portfolio management companies will pay a fee of € 1,000 per year.

Private companies: domestic, foreigners, controlled by foreigners or not who have a number of employees not exceeding 5, will pay a fee of € 150 per year.

Companies that have a number of employees that exceeds 5 will but does not exceed 15 will pay € 250.

Companies that exceed 15 but do not exceed 30 will pay € 350.

Companies with more than 30 employees will pay € 500.

Public companies, domestic, foreign or controlled by foreigners or not, will pay an annual fee of € 1,000.

General and limited liability companies, cooperatives and joint ventures that have:

(i) number of employees not exceeding 5, will pay € 150

(ii) number of employees exceeding 5 but not exceeding 15, € 250

(iii) number of employees exceeding 15 but not exceeding 30, will pay a fee of € 350

(iv) more than 30 employees will pay € 500

Natural or legal persons who do not fall into any of the above categories will pay € 300

Establishments that start operating within the second half of the year are subject to six-month fees, which are set at half of the above fees.
