Our National Women's team suffered a 5-0 defeat by Finland tonight at AEK Arena for the qualifying phase of the European Championship.
The match concerned the 5th group and was the last in the organization.
Finland finished first in our group securing a ticket to the final phase and it is characteristic that in eight games it celebrated seven victories and brought a draw.
Finland was ahead early with 3-0 (4 ′, 6 ′, 12 ′) and in the 31st minute it reached 4-0.
In the second half, our players had a much better presence and created conditions to score first with Violari and then with Frida.
Finland's fifth goal was scored at 90 + 3.
