This is a 25-year-old Armenian who plays mainly on the left end of the attack but can also play in the other positions.
Last season he recorded 17 appearances, one goal and one assist with Latvian Riga, while he is 13 times international with his national team.

Paphos FC is pleased to announce the latest transfer of the season EDGAR BABAYAN IS INCLUDED IN PAFOS FC Paphos, Cyprus, 07 September 2021 – PAFOS FC announces the cooperation agreement between the team and the Armenian footballer Edgar Babayan. Babayan, 25, plays mainly on the left wing of the attack but can also play in the other positions of the attack. He started his career at a young age in the Academy of Randers FC Denmark, reaching even the first team and the top category in the country. He also played for Hobro IK Denmark and his last team was the Latvian champions Riga FC. He has competed with the Danish National Youth Team, while he is an International with the Armenian National Men's Team. He has also participated in the qualifying round of the UEFA, Europa League and Champions' League. We welcome Edgar to the Paphos family and wish him good luck on and off the field.
