It is recalled that members of the Larnaca Traffic Police, while carrying out traffic checks in the province of Larnaca yesterday morning, stopped for inspection a car that was moving at a speed of 82 kilometers per hour instead of 65 which is the permissible limit.
Examinations revealed that the driver of the car was a 13-year-old minor, with his 46-year-old uncle as co-driver and 20-year-old and 19-year-old passengers in the back seats.
The occupants of the vehicle were transported to the offices of the Larnaca Traffic Police, where the 46-year-old was reported for allowing a minor to drive his vehicle without a driver's license, without being covered by a safety certificate, without a certificate of fitness and while his license had been suspended.
The 46-year-old, the 20-year-old and the 19-year-old were also sued out of court for the Infection Clearance Law and will pay the sum of 300 euros each.
