The Fire Department proceeded to the rescue of an elderly person in a rural area in the province of Paphos on Wednesday night.
According to the Spokesperson of the Cyprus Fire Service Andreas Ketti at 19:35 yesterday a call was received for the rescue of an elderly person in a rural area in the province of Paphos.
Immediately, members of the Police responded and the Fire Service from the Paphos Fire Station with two staffed firefighting vehicles. .
The rescue team of the Fire Service that responded, managed to trap him using ropes and then handed him over to an ambulance for transport to the T.A.E.P. of Paphos Hospital.
