The need for urgent de-escalation in the region was underlined during a telephone communication held on Wednesday by Minister of Foreign Affairs Konstantinos Kombos with his Egyptian counterpart Dr. Badr Abdelatty.
According to a post by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Platform X, Mr. Kombos had a telephone conversation with Dr. Abdelatty, with the discussion focusing on strategic relations between the two countries and tensions in the Middle East.
Additionally, the need for an urgent de-escalation in the region and a cease-fire in Gaza was underlined.
