A forest fire that started in the area of Prodromi community in Paphos was brought under full control at 16:20.
According to an announcement by the Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment today, Monday, at 15:35 a fire broke out in the area of Prodromi community.
It is noted that the intervention of the forest firefighting forces was immediate, with the result that the fire was brought under control at 16:20, burning an area of three decades with grain and low wild vegetation.
It is added that 5 people from the Forest Department with 2 fire engines and 2 people from the Fire Service with 1 fire engine participated in the extinguishing operation.
